Bulk Import: Move Hundreds of Links in Minutes

4 mins read

Creating links one by one is fine for ten, painful for a hundred and impossible for a thousand. Bulk import lets you upload a CSV file and create or update many short links in a single pass. It is the fastest way to migrate from another shortener or to stage a big campaign.

What you can import

  • The long destination URL for each link.
  • A custom alias (optional).
  • A title and description.
  • A channel to file it under.
  • Tags and other metadata supported by the importer.

Migration from another tool

If you are moving from bit.ly, Rebrandly or a self-hosted script, export your links to CSV, match the columns to our template, and import. Your existing aliases can be preserved so old short links keep working under a custom domain.

Tips for a clean import

Keep aliases lowercase and unique, double-check that destination URLs are valid, and import in batches of a few hundred if your file is large. The importer reports any rows it could not process, so you can fix and re-run just those.

Bulk import is a Pro and Business feature. See plans.
